Visa information

The Embassy of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh requests the following documents for a ‘B‘ Visa application:

1. A visa application form (that can be found at the website www.visa.gov.bd) filled-in;

2. A 2x2 colour photograph with white background not older than six months (attach to the top left corner of the application form. Do not staple the photo);

3. The valid passport (original) with validity of at least six months;

4. Passport’s photocopy (photo page only);

5. R$ 170,00 (one hundred and seventy reais) for Brazilian citizens in fee. It need to be deposited to the Embassy’s account (when you submit your papers, we will provide you the account details)

In addition to the aforementioned documentation, the following documents are required for business visa:

- Letter from the employer in Brazil;

- Invitation letter from the host company in Bangladesh

- Both letters should clearly state the purpose of the visit.

- Also include Trade License/Registration Paper or any Government issued Certificate in favour of the host organization.

- Both letters should clearly state the purpose of the visit.

- Also include Trade License/Registration Paper or any Government issued Certificate in favour of the host organization.

1. A visa application form (that can be found at the website www.visa.gov.bd) filled-in;

4. Passport’s photocopy (photo page only);

5. R$ 170,00 (one hundred and seventy reais) for Brazilian citizens in fee. It need to be deposited to the Embassy’s account (when you submit your papers, we will provide you the account details)

In addition to the aforementioned documentation, the following documents are required for business visa:

- Letter from the employer in Brazil;

- Letter from the BIDA (Bangladesh Investment Development Authority)

            Affairs form Bangladesh

- Both letters should clearly state the purpose of the visit.

- Also include Trade License/Registration Paper or any Government issued Certificate in favour of the host organization.


Please note that the Embassy has the prerogative to request for further documents at any stage of the visa process.

4. Passport’s photocopy (photo page only);

5. R$ 170,00 (one hundred and seventy reais) for Brazilian citizens in fee. It need to be deposited to the Embassy’s account (when you submit your papers, we will provide you the account details)

In addition to the aforementioned documentation, the following documents are required for Tourist visa:

Hotel booking;

- Or, if staying with host  letter from the host company in Bangladesh


Study Visa

- Letter from the The universities  form Bangladesh

- Both letters should clearly state the purpose of the visit.
